Chemitex has been trading in yarns and fabrics,
the basic raw materials of textiles, for over 30 years. Starting with
cotton yarns with origins such as Turkey, the company now supplies a full
range of yarns from different origins, as well as both knitted and woven
fabrics in natural and synthetic fibres.

Today, Chemitex sources its yarns
from all over the world, from as far afield as the Middle East,
Far East and South America, and can supply different qualities
for weaving and knitting from stock. There are spun yarns in single
and twofold cotton, poly/cotton or viscose.
For clients who need synthetics, the company can supply filament
yarn in polyester and nylon. Innovation has always been a Chemitex
trademark.
Spun yarns
Ringspun and open end yarns, in both single and twofold spun out

Fabrics
Loomstate woven and knitted fabrics in grey, semi-finished or finished
states have been a major and dynamic part of Chemitex’s business
for 20 years. The company supplies the Household textile market with fabric
for bedlinen, quilts, curtains and upholstery.
For the Garment market, both loomstate and dyed fabrics can be supplied
for sports and casual wear, protective wear in 100% cotton and poly/cotton,
and for industrial uses such as in hospitals or the military.
Chemitex is mainly involved in the beginning of the supply chain of textiles
for household use, garments and some industrial applications. When you
look around, you’ll find that your towels or bedlinen are most probably
made from yarns supplied by Chemitex, in the clothes you’re wearing
there will more than likely be at least one piece of fabric that Chemitex
supplied, even the upholstery on the seat in your car may use Chemitex
yarn or fabric.
